What's in the weekly edition? The weekly 'Forest Talk News' Talking Newspaper is for those with visual and reading disabilities. For all listeners, the talking newspaper can provide a sense of involvement in the wider community with familiar and friendly voices in the home each week. Now, with the new digital recording system the sound quality is superb!
The 1½-hour weekly recording contains two sections: 1. The News and 2. The Magazine. The News section has extracts from local newspapers gleaned from the previous week's editions leading up to recording day. The Magazine section covers a wide range of interests and we'll respond to suggestions from listeners and their helpers - just pop a note in the mail pouch when you return the memory stick. |
